Brief – Wellington City Chorus is an acapella harmony women’s chorus. They needed to modernise and refresh their logo to better reflect this talented group of women (See old logo: left of fantail, below).

Solution – We created a new mark based around the fantail, a distinctly New Zealand character renowned for his showmanship and unique sound. We built the tail up with fanned music notes referencing the singers in their riser formation, and sat the fantail on a curved branch suggesting the Wellington City harbour.
